Our Founder
Donna Durvasula started DPD Educational Consulting in response to the rapid developments and increased competition around college admissions. She built her practice using a student-centric approach because she believes every student deserves the opportunity to have a college experience that is right for them. Her expert guidance provides students with a roadmap and the support they need throughout the entire process.
Hands-On
Donna has personal and professional experience in helping students find the best school for them. Having three sons of her own, she has seen first-hand how overwhelming the college process has become. She also understands that in education, one size does not fit all. When evaluating schools and a student’s needs, Donna considers every detail and a person’s uniqueness.
Experienced
Donna has been highly active in the public, private, and boarding school sectors, volunteering for many programs in her community and the local school systems. This exposure, her ongoing college visits, and industry affiliations give Donna a clear understanding of the nuances between different educational experiences, changes in the college landscape, and the pressures on students today.
Qualified
- Graduated from Fairfield University
- Earned a Certificate in College Counseling From the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA, ext.)
- Serves as an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA)
